Event Support Staff
Are you passionate about nature and community? We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic team members to assist with events at our farm and off-site locations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in dynamic indoor and outdoor environments and has a passion for creating enjoyable experiences. The position offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals looking for part-time work that fits their schedule.
Time Commitment: Flexible schedule (3-4 hour events)
Rate: $25/hr
What You’ll Do:
Assist with event setup, including arranging seating, decorations, and equipment.
Greet and direct attendees as they arrive.
Provide support during the event by managing guest inquiries and helping with event activities.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the event area throughout the event.
Assist with event breakdown, including packing up equipment and restoring the space to its original condition.
Be available on-call for urgent event support needs. Must have reliable transportation.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate has:
Previous experience in event support, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Flexible availability, including weekends.
Physical ability to lift and carry items (up to 10 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
